There is a network of upland footpaths linking areas in Eryri (Snowdonia). This National Trust property is perfect for dog walkers. The terrain is mixed, so please visit the National Trust website before setting out.
The trail starts at the National Trust car park in Nantmor and after a section of woodland, follows the Afon Glaslyn on the fisherman’s path running parallel to the Welsh Highland Railway through Aberglaslyn gorge. This section is more than a stroll along the riverside. The path is uneven and care should be takes as you navigate your way over the rocks. Take care a when crossing the railway tracks, as the the Welsh Highland Railway services operate on this route.

Beddgelert is a village and community in the Snowdonia area of Gwynedd, Wales. The population of the community taken at the 2011 census was 455, and includes Nantmor and Nant Gwynant. It is reputed to be named after the legendary hound Gelert.

Borth y Gest, Porthmadog, Gwynedd, LL49 9TY. Borth y Gest Beaches are located in the small, picturesque village of Borth y Gest near Porthmadog. You can access the beaches from the village car park by following the Wales Coast Path signs westwards passing terraced houses.
Astounding coastal path leading to a clutch of beaches. Excellent for dog walkers or amblers.
Porthdinllaen is a small coastal village on the LlÅ·n Peninsula in the Dwyfor area of Gwynedd, Wales, built on a small promontory, and historically in Caernarfonshire. It is near the larger village of Morfa Nefyn. It has been owned by the National Trust since 1994.
To make the most of your trip to Porthdinllaen, try to go at low tide as the beach is vast at this time.
